There are several reasons why a hitter makes it onto the Do Not Draft list. Maybe it is an injury concern, maybe it is because their draft position seems way too high, but usually, it is someone whose personality makes it difficult to want them to succeed.
Our 2023 suggestions will appear here shortly, but in the meantime, check out our 2022 list of shame below.
Marcell Ozuna
No, thank you! Outfield is so deep there is no need to draft a guy who violated MLB’s joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse policy.
Remember, if he is on your team, you will be willing Ozune to hit homers and score runs. Just avoid the moral conflict; don’t draft him.
Odubel Herrera
Copy and paste from above? Outfield is deep. Have some integrity in your draft choices.
Robinson Cano
It is easier to excuse a naive rookie for PED dabbling, but a potential Hall of Famer? Don’t have any shares in Cano.
